Herriard car park resurfacing

THE village hall is widely and regularly used by most people in the village and groups using the hall include a social club, darts and pool teams, the Herriard and Lasham Women's Institute, a toddler group, a Pilates exercise group, the Parish Council for social events and meetings, the Parochial Church Council for a Harvest Supper and Christmas Drinks after Carol service and the fete committee.

The car park base had subsided, was extremely uneven and had become a severe trip hazard.

In the summer of 2009, the group dug out the existing tarmac, lay and compacted a base and re-surfaced the area to a good standard.
