We launched the Star Energy Community Fund in 2008 as a means of putting something back into the local communities where we operate in parts of Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
After two successful years during which we have contributed some £200,000 to community projects in key areas, we regret having to suspend the fund for the 2011 – 12 financial year. Our decision reflects the uncertainties of a period during which costs need to be reduced but also the fact that we currently have fewer active projects that are impacting upon communities in our key areas.
