Albury village enhancement project

 

Grant - £10,000

 

ALBURY Parish Council set out to re-create the old character of the village by replacing inappropriate street furniture, metal railings, poor quality plastic bollards and “general street clutter”.

Money from the Star Energy Community Fund also helped this extensive project to, amongst other things, replace a bus shelter and restore village entry signs.

 

Where possible, local people were contracted for the work.
