New village hall at Tichborne

TICHBORNE is a small Hampshire village with no meeting facilities other than its pub and church. A local survey highlighted the need for a hall and a working party has been set up to take the project forward.

It is thought likely that the proposed hall would also serve neighbouring villages and provide a meeting place in particular for a playgroup.

The project is in its infancy and costs have yet to be explored. The working party sought a grant from the fund to commission the necessary expert advice before beginning a fund raising initiative.
