Safe surfacing at Shere Village Nursery

THE nursery aims to provide affordable, quality pre-school education, so ensuring that no sections of the community are disadvantaged. It also provides support network for families facing problems.

The school’s outdoor classroom on Shere Recreation Ground is a much loved facility. Part of the area has a concrete surface left over from a former cricket net. While good for cycling, it is not good for the nursery’s rather younger age group who regularly take tumbles.

The plan is to cover it with a specialist soft surface that meets safety requirements and would be installed in a few hours as a wet pour.
